If you want to avoid queues and a lot of time in bureaucratic procedures, using your mobile phone is a good idea for administrative procedures. Beyond the Administration applications that you can download, there is an essential document that serves as a gateway to verify your identity: the FNMT digital certificate.

To have the digital certificate of the National Currency and Stamp Factory on your mobile there are several options: either you request it directly from the phone or you install it after importing it if you obtained it with another device. From here, it opens a long list of procedures that you can do from your mobile.

What procedures can you do with the digital certificate on your mobile

• Can file taxessuch as the Income Tax Return. It is enough to have the certificate to access the draft, which you must review thoroughly before confirming it. However, if you are an employee, you can also file your quarterly taxes such as VAT. from the Tax Agency website and the certificate to enter.
• Can sign documents with your electronic signaturesince the certificate serves to verify your identity. Of course, on some occasions you may need an extra app, although the certificate application itself already allows you to carry out the electronic signature.
• Can request an appointment for numerous procedures, such as renewing your DNI or passport, since it is one of the ways to access the Administration application Prior Appointmentdesigned for this purpose.

• Can view important documents and download receiptssuch as the register, your passport, the European Health Card, the birth certificate, the large family title, your balance of points as a driver, the technical data of your vehicle, your medical history, claim and unemployment benefits, your real estate or academic titles, among others.
• Can present instances and resources from the General Electronic Registry, as well as establishing powers of attorney for other people to act on your behalf.
• Establish communication with the Administrationboth from you to the institution for procedures such as changing address or if we have approved the driver’s license and vice versa, through notifications.
• Can pay traffic fines and other administrative fees.

In summary, it constitutes one of the entry points to Public Administration applications and everything they allow. The My Citizen Folder and miDGT applications deserve special mention. However, these applications can also be accessed through the Cl@ve system (PIN, mobile or Permanent).
