Since Xiaomi presented its Xiaomi SU7 in China on March 28, 2024, there has not been a single week in which we dreamed of its possible arrival in Europe, and it seems that the brand is finally starting to make preliminary preparations that are needed for this to occur as soon as possible, although we still do not have a confirmed date by any means.
And, as we have been able to know through Xiaomi TodayXiaomi Auto has started hiring a completely new human team that will be focused on preparing sales abroad and it will operate under the supervision of Xiaomi’s international division, fantastic news since it makes it very clear to us that the company’s intention is to start selling its cars outside of China as soon as possible.
The arrival of the Xiaomi SU7 in Europe is getting closer and closer
In this case, the Xiaomi Auto team is recruiting experts in project management, market research and after-sales engineers specialized in electric vehicles, and the idea is sell a small number of units in different regions with the aim of being able to check the reception that the car has in other markets outside the Asian continent.
Furthermore, something that has caught our attention is that the brand has added new locations within your intelligent driving system which seeks to address the requirements that must be met in foreign markets when using specific vehicle functions, such as the Xiaomi Pilot.
In principle, Xiaomi’s objective is power sell their cars in Europe before the year 2030 arrivesand everything seems to indicate that it will occur much sooner than expected. Let’s remember that we are talking about a company that has been developing like a fish in water for years in international markets, so it is more than prepared for a landing that many users are eager to see happen.
The only thing we can do today is wait for Xiaomi to do its magic and launch a launch that until recently seemed unthinkable in the short term. Sales outside China are already beginning to be considered in stores managed directly by Xiaomi’s international division, so it is a matter of time before we can access a car that never tires of breaking records in its first year of life.
