Although Android 15 has been available for weeks on devices from various brands, It is not the case of Samsung. Its custom layer, One UI 7, is taking longer than we would like. The good news is that its beta has been available for a few days, a process that is essential for its stable version to reach users around the world.
During the beta phase, the firm introduces all kinds of changes. For this reason, it is logical that Different versions are being released as the days go by. We didn’t know how many there were going to be, but thanks to the GSMArena portal, we can give a fairly specific number.
The One UI 7 beta will have three phases during this month of December
Last December 5 was the day chosen by Samsung to start the beta phase of its new One UI 7. During all these days, users who are within the beta program can try this layer on their Galaxy S24, and hence we have already been able to see several of its new features. We didn’t know how the beta program was going to continue this December, but a screenshot of Samsung support completely ruins it for us.
The screenshot, which we can see right below (courtesy of the aforementioned GSMArena media), is very clear regarding the phases of the One UI 7 beta. According to it, It will have three different phases and all will take place this month.
This message, which refers at all times to India, not only gives us the number of updates for the beta, but also gives us three very specific dates for them: December 16, 23 and 30. That the deadlines are so short between versions is very good news, since it means that Samsung is working hard to introduce changes and improvements as quickly as possible.
Another point that we must take into account is that these different phases They will reach a series of very specific territories. The beta is only available in Germany, India, South Korea, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. These countries will be the only ones that can test this version of Android 15 this December.
This entire beta phase will end with a stable version that will probably debut with the new Galaxy S25. In this way, The deployment of this final version will still take a few more weeksso we have no choice but to be patient.
