After launching what is for many the best application to watch DTT on your mobile, now it is FM radio’s turn. OndaChannels is a new application for listen to hundreds of radio stations on your mobilewhich works just as well as TDTChannels.

OndaChannels is a new free application available on Google Playsimple, legal and with everything you expect from an application to listen to the radio. What’s more, if you prefer, you don’t even need to install the app and you can choose the web version.

All the radio, on your mobile

There has been competition for TuneIn and other applications for listening to streaming radio with the arrival of OndaChannels. The app is basically the TDTChannels of the radio.

At OndaChannels a simple list of hundreds of local, national and international stations Categorized by type such as musical, sports, children’s or by autonomous communities, each with its name and logo, as well as filters and a search engine.

Many of these stations have a programming guide indicating the current program and the following ones, in addition to showing us the different playback options that are available. In the case of direct streaming, the audio quality is indicated. If something goes wrong, we can always opt for webcasting, which opens the playback on the station’s official website.

As expected, playback continues whether you exit the application, lock your phone or turn off the screen. There is also no lack of the option to stream the broadcast to a Chromecast or similar devices. Nor are there any more advanced options for a first version, such as the sleep timer or the favorites list.

OndaChannels is a free application, although includes advertisements in the form of small banners. If you want to get rid of them, you can choose to pay for the ad-free experience which costs 1.19 euros per month or 11.99 euros per year.
